Doulas and Epidurals

Doula Chick, Halifax 30/01/09

Have we [...]

my amazing husband

Last night my husband reaffirmed everything I’ve always believed about him. He is my soul mate, he is my other half, he knows what I need to hear to make me feel safe  and how to bring me back when I start to float away.
I love you!

mesh bag

My dad is in charge of laundry at my parents house so when he gave me this advice I listened. (he’s always complaining I never listen to him… I hope he reads this post

A Healing Birth

Well, I’ve booked the classes room for 6 weeks, starting March 24th. Here’s hoping someone registers

cloth wipes

Thank you mom for recommending that I buy the economy pack of facecloths. It seems like such a nobrainer, but wipes are such a part of baby life that it didn’t click until she said it.

siblings

I love that Noah loves his brother. He rocks him in his swing and he covers him up if Griff’s blanket slips down during his nap. But the other night during bath time Noah was being really aggressive, practically destroying his crayons from colouring so hard on the walls.
“Noah, are you angry?” I asked.
“Ya” he [...]
